Is it mandatory to do 40days/80hr internship,if we do internship which is less than 80hr or 40days it will be consider?

40 days/80 days is mandated by the regulations. However variations are allowed depending on the internship. Get back with the details of the internship chosen.

Hello sir , actually i am working as a freelancer as a web application developer from past 1 month for a future startup,I wanted to know is it valid as internship and if so what proof/certificate i ask my client which will be accepted by GEU.

If you are getting paid then proof of payment and a letter from the client side is enough.
If you are not getting paid we will need more details about the nature of the work, some information about the future startup and how you landed on the work. You can send the details here or in a private message or talk to your mentor.
