It has been noticed that the students of 7th semester are not attending their regular classes even after the completion of campus placement drives. This has resulted in difficulty in completing the syllabus on time and the students possess danger of substandard performance in the exams.
Students are advised to attend their classes regularly in their own interest. Strict compliance of University Rules for attendance will be adhered to. The undersigned would like to bring it to their notice that as per the University rules, 75% attendance is required to become eligible for appearing in the End Semester Examination. Students who fail to attend the required number of lectures as per the University rules shall be debarred afront from the end term exams. This will also impact the internal assessment marks and GP marks.
Students who are undergoing University approved trainings at other places like GATE training at Roorkee etc should note that their attendance will be collected from the respective trainings for the purpose of calculating attendance.
The Viva-Voce of the final year students (7th sem) for the Industrial Training done at the end of 6th semester will be held as per the following schedule. The students should submit a report on the training undergone which should also invariably contain a copy of the certificate provided by the organisation/faculty member.
