Absentee List of Major Project Phase-I of 7th<\/sup> sem and Performance of Students<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The major project phase-I reports have been evaluated and unfortunately the quality of work have been found to be lowest quality in recent years. It is also rather unfortunate that quite a number of students have resorted to rampant plagiarism which is not only unethical but also professionally illegal. The following points are to be noted:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. A lot of students have simply put a name of a supervisor and they have never even talked to the supervisor. In the final scheme of evaluation all these students will get zero marks in the supervisor\u2019s component.<\/li>\n
  2. A lot of students have submitted a report which is nothing but descriptions of available methods. The students were supposed to submit a complete design document.<\/li>\n
  3. A number of students have submitted reports downloaded from other institutes\/organizations. This is an act of plagiarism and adoption of unfair means. Suitable actions have been taken in this.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The following students have been marked Absent in Major Project Phase-I. The absentee students are given one final chance to submit their design document latest by 6 PM of Tuesday, 29 December 2020 with a penalty of 40 marks. Note that students who remain absent in Phase-I may not be allowed to appear in Phase-II in 8th<\/sup> semester without passing Phase-I thus risking losing valuable months.<\/p>\n
