Group Division Test (GDT) for Placement Groups

NOTICE

Date: 03 October 2025

All students of B.Tech (CSE Core and Specializations), 5th Semester are hereby informed that the Group Division Test (GDT) for Placement Groups will be conducted on the HackerEarth Platform as per the following schedule:

Dates of Test: 8th, 9th, and 10th October 2025

Time : 04:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Mode: Physical (at allotted Labs/LTs)
Platform: HackerEarth
Test Pattern: 4 Coding Questions
Duration: 2 Hours

The students must ensure the following:

1. You must have a valid account on hackerearth.com using the same email ID as registered in ERP records. The attempt will only be considered for that registered email ID.
2. Disable 2-step verification on Gmail before coming to the lab, as mobile phones are strictly not allowed.
3. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside Labs.
4. Students should bring their own laptops (fully charged) for emergency purposes.
5. Rough sheets will be provided.
6. Tests are to be given only at the university campus. Requests for home-based tests or slot alterations will not be entertained.
7. The login window will remain open for only 15 minutes. No login will be allowed after 4:10 PM.
8. The test will be AI-proctored and plagiarism-checked. Any malpractice will lead to strict disciplinary action as per university rules.
9. Students must report as per the given schedule, in proper uniform with their University ID Card.
10. If a student fails to appear for the test physically, a random placement group will be allocated by the CEC team. No requests for changes will be entertained.

All students are advised to adhere strictly to the instructions and report to their scheduled venues on time.
