The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Graphic Era University, is pleased to announce that it is hosting AWS JAM – 2026 on 10 February 2026.
The list of selected students/participants for the AWS JAM has been attached with this notice. All selected students must ensure their mandatory presence during the event.
Instructions for Students:
- Reporting Time: 9:00 AM sharp
- Venue: Silver Jubilee Convention Centre
- Uniform is mandatory, along with the student ID Card
- Laptops must be fully charged before arrival
Kindly ensure the instructions are followed for the smooth conduction of the event.
AWS Skill Builder – Login Instructions
All participants must ensure access to their AWS Skill Builder account before the event by following the steps below:
- Navigate to the AWS Skill Builder website
- Click on “Sign in” and select AWS Builder ID (Recommended)
- Enter your AWS Builder ID credentials or create a new AWS Builder ID
- If you previously used “Login with Amazon,” link it with your AWS Builder ID when prompted
- Complete your profile setup (for first-time users)
- Access training content and courses successfully
AWS JAM Event – Login & Access Steps (Event Day)
Step 1: Access AWS JAM
- Visit: https://jam.aws.com/v2/
Step 2: Sign In
- Click “Sign in” (top-right corner)
- Select AWS Builder ID
- Enter your credentials
Step 3: Create AWS JAM Profile (First-Time Users Only)
Fill in the required details:
- Preferred Language
- Email Address
- Display Name (visible to team members)
- Country
- Accept AWS Learner Terms & Conditions
Click “Create AWS Jam Profile”
Step 4: Join the Event
- Navigate to Play → Join a Jam Event
Step 5: Enter Secret Key
- Enter the Secret Key (to be shared by facilitators at the event start)
- Click “Join Event”
Step 6: Access Dashboard
- View your team dashboard with challenge difficulty levels:
- Green – Easy
- Yellow – Medium
- Red – Hard
Step 7: Start Solving Challenges
- Click on the CHALLENGES tab
- Select and open challenges
- Collaborate with your team to solve real-world AWS scenarios

Important Notes for Learners
- No personal AWS account is required (infrastructure is pre-created)
- Secret Key will be shared at the event start
- Clues may be used (with minor point deductions)
- Challenges can be restarted if required
Instructions to Be Followed for Participation
Hardware & System Requirements
- Students must bring their own laptops
- Minimum 8 GB RAM
- Prefer Intel machines over AMD
- Processor: i5 / Ryzen 5 or above
- Virtualization must be enabled
- Updated web browsers (Chrome/Firefox) with English as default language
System Capability
- Workstation must support:
- Web browser access to AWS services
- S3 buckets
- SSH connections to EC2 instances
General Instructions
- Carry fully charged laptops and chargers
- Event duration may extend 3–4 hours
- Limited charging ports available please cooperate
- Formal university uniform is mandatory
- Carry your University Identity Card
Students are advised to regularly check their GEU/GEHU official email IDs for further updates related to AWS JAM – 2026.

Non-compliance with the above instructions will lead to deduction of GP marks. Attendance is mandatory for all selected students.
