Exciting Opportunity for CSE Students – Google Cloud Career Launchpad courses

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is pleased to inform all students about an exciting learning opportunity in collaboration with Google Cloud under the Google Cloud Career Launchpad Program.

This initiative aims to help students develop industry-ready skills in Cloud Computing, strengthen their technical profiles, and enhance placement opportunities with Fortune 500 companies. Students will also have the opportunity to earn recognized digital badges and certifications upon successful completion.

Eligibility

All interested B.Tech CSE students (2nd Year onwards) are eligible to participate and  who are committed to complete within stipulated time (8-12 weeks). Each candidate can enroll in only one specific course under the Google Cloud Career Launchpad Program.

About the Program

The Google Cloud Career Launchpad Courses provide a strong foundation in cloud technologies and are aligned with the academic curriculum to help students build practical industry skills.

Key Features

  • Free of Cost: The courses are completely free of cost. However, students must complete the program within 8–12 weeks. Defaulters will be viewed seriously.
  • Digital Badges: Students will receive official digital badges from Google Cloud for each successfully completed module, which can be added to resumes and professional profiles.
  • Skill Development: Opportunity to learn cloud computing through industry-aligned content and hands-on labs.

Course Tracks

  1. Cloud Engineering Certificate (ACE)
    This track is suitable for students with little or no prior experience in cloud computing who wish to start from the basics. It includes approximately 80 hours of content, consisting of 6 on-demand courses and 4 lab-based courses (skill badges).

Optional Offering: The Associate Cloud Engineer exam is included as an optional component. Students who complete the training will receive a 50% discount on the first exam attempt.

  1. Data Analytics Certificate (ADP)
    This track is designed for students with a keen interest in data analysis and analytics. It includes approximately 90 hours of content, consisting of 4 on-demand courses, 1 capstone project, and 1 preparatory course for the Associate Data Practitioner exam.

Optional Offering: Students completing the training will receive a 50% discount on the first attempt of the Associate Data Practitioner exam.

  1. Cloud Cybersecurity Certificate (CYBER)
    This track is suitable for students interested in cloud-based security and prepares learners for roles such as Developer Security Operations. It includes approximately 90 hours of content, consisting of 4 on-demand courses and 1 capstone project.

Target Audience: Interested students of 3rd Year CSE

  1. Google Cloud Computing Foundations (GCCF)
    This certificate program is intended for students with little or no background in cloud computing. It provides a comprehensive overview of cloud basics, big data, machine learning, and Google Cloud technologies. The program includes approximately 40 hours of content, consisting of 4 on-demand courses and 4 lab-based courses.

Target Audience: Interested students of 2nd Year CSE
