The online evaluation for 8th Semester Major Project (for 50 marks) is being scheduled on Saturday, 5th February 2022 and Sunday, 6th February 2022 as per previous notice regarding the same.
The groups have been assigned a panel for evaluation. There are total 6 panels. Please find the assigned panel, group information and date of evaluation from the files given below:
The students will join the appropriate WhatsApp group of each panel, the WhatsApp invite link will be shared by the concerned class coordinators. The students should ensure that they join the proper group so that their viva is conducted without any issue. No requests will be entertained from students if they join the wrong panel.
The viva be held in online mode and will start from 10 AM onwards. The faculty member will share the link through which viva will be taken in the WhatsApp group. The groups should be available on time and may be required to wait for their turn. If a group does not join on time, they will be summarily marked absent and they will not receive any marks for the viva part. Students should clearly note that all the group members should be available online together at the specified time for viva.
As already mentioned, the students who have taken NOC are exempted from appearing in the evaluation. If name of any student who have taken an NOC appears in the above lists kindly contact the concerned faculty member (Dr. Guruprasad). It has also come to notice that some students have joined an organization without taking a NOC which is highly objectionable. All such students are directed to immediately take the NOC by Thursday, 4th Feb 2022, or otherwise they are required to appear for the evaluation.
The students will be evaluated based on the following points:
- Complete understanding of the project design and implementation process
- Tools and technologies being used and how selection of the tools justify the design
- Modules completed till now
- Coding work done till now
- Following of project management lifecycle
- Cohesion between team members (where project is done in groups)
- Future Roadmap till completion
