Performance in Lab Exams of 6 Sem and Special Re-Exam Notice

It is a matter of grave concern that the performance of 6^th semester students during the recently concluded End Term Practical Exams was extremely poor and way beyond standards. This is despite reminding the students time to time that the role of practicals is paramount for the placement interviews which are scheduled from next month onwards. It is even more worrying that majority of substandard performances were observed in DAA lab which is a crucial subject for placements. Based on such performance a student cannot expect himself/herself to progress and even become eligible for number of placement drives.

Considering the situation resulting in a number of students getting ineligible for placements, it has been decided by competent authority to conduct a special exam for the students whose performance has been marked as extremely poor. These special exams are conducted for both mid and end lab. Along with the poor performers the students who were absent are also eligible to appear for these special exams. As a special consideration these special exams will be held without any fee. However, a penalty of 25 percent marks is imposed.
