Notice: Mini Project for 4th Sem through Google Cloud Computing Foundations

4th Semester students (CSE, CSE-All Specializations, CE, CST, IT) are hereby notified that interested students are provided an opportunity to complete their mini projects of this semester through Google Cloud Computing Foundation (GCCF).

Mini Project is a compulsory component of your curriculum and 100 marks are allotted for it.  The University has signed an MoU with the GCCF where selected students of 4th semester can complete their mini projects through GCCF. The students have to do self-study of specific modules of GCCF. There are total 10 modules which can be completed within 40 hours. Completion of each module successfully will earn you a digital badge from GCCF which is a great value addition to your resume. Additionally, the best performing students may be hired by Google for internship positions in third year. The students also get additional preference in the job market. Details about the GCCF curriculum can be found at http://csitgeu.in/wp/gccf.pdf

From the point of view of the mini project each student will get direct 9 marks from each completed module. For example, if a student completes all 10 modules, he/she gets 90 marks, if someone complete 9 modules he/she gets 81 marks. Another 10 marks is kept for a presentation at the end of the semester.

Students who are interested in the GCCF curriculum are instructed to provide their details through the following link. The details are to be provided latest by 5 PM of Monday, 11 January 2021. This is a hard deadline and no extensions will be provided. The number of seats is limited so the selections will be done on a first come first serve basis. Once you are selected you will be provided with the curriculum access login details.

Note1: Once you are selected you cannot withdraw from the same, your mini project will be evaluated only through this.

Note2: For students who are not interested, their mini project details will be notified later.
