About Samsung PRISM:

‘Samsung PRISM – PReparing and Inspiring Student Minds’.
You can read more about it at https://www.samsungprism.com/

Samsung PRISM is a student program designed to engage Professors and Students on industry-relevant projects in cutting edge technologies along with R&D Team Mentors at Samsung. This gives students and Assistant/Associate/ Professors the opportunity to work on a unique problem statement (we call it a ‘work-let’) which directly contributes to R&D work happening in Samsung. As part of this Program, we collaborate with relevant departments/Professors on the work-lets and give an opportunity for joint publications/patents as a result of the engagement. Each team will consist of 1 Professor working with 3-4 Students. And each problem statement is designed such that you can work on the problem statement from the college campus itself with regular guidance from Samsung R&D Team mentors.

Some notable area of collaborations are as follows:

– Computer Vision

– Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (Voice, On-Device &Data)

– Speech Processing (Voice)

– Internet of Things

– 5G/Communication

– Image Processing (Vision- Camera)
